Privacy Policy

This policy explains what happens to personal information when you use this website, which is operated by Ascension Football LLC. It covers this site only.

We may update it. The date above shows when it last changed.

The only place this site asks for personal information is the contact form, and what it asks for depends on which path you choose.

Every path asks for your name, email address, phone number, and your message.

If you are an athlete or a coach, it also asks for your level, your school or team, your graduating class if you have one, and what you mainly need help with.

If you are a parent or guardian, it asks the same questions about the athlete, including their name, their school, and their graduating class.

If you are a brand or a business, it asks for your company, what you are interested in, and optionally a budget range.

You can always skip the form and simply call or email us instead. Nothing on this site requires an account, and there is nothing to log into.

The parent and guardian path exists so that a family can enquire on an athlete’s behalf, which means it collects information about a person who has not visited this site and who is often under 18.

If you fill in that form, please only send details you are entitled to share, and please tell the athlete you have done so. If you are not their parent or legal guardian, ask them first.

If you are that athlete, or their parent, and you want us to delete what was sent, contact us and we will do it. You do not have to explain why.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how many people visit, which pages they read, and how quickly pages load. These report aggregated figures such as page views, referring site, approximate region, and browser or device type. They do not use cookies and they do not follow you across other websites.

When you submit the contact form, our server briefly holds your IP address in memory to limit how many times the form can be submitted in a minute. This is a spam control. It is not stored in a database, it is not linked to your enquiry, and it disappears when the server instance recycles.

The form also contains a hidden field that people never see. If it is filled in, we treat the submission as automated and discard it.

When you press send, we also run an automated check that separates real people from bots. Your browser works out a short proof that the submission came from a genuine browser session, and that proof travels with your enquiry and is checked by Vercel. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device, it runs only at the moment you submit and not while you are reading the site, and it is not used to identify you or to follow you anywhere else.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, as any web host does.

We set no cookies. There is no advertising on this site, no advertising or social media tracking pixels, and no cross-site tracking. We do not build a profile of you or of your interests.

The only automated judgement we make about a visitor is the bot check described above, and it looks at one question: whether a form submission came from a real browser rather than a script. It plays no part in how we read your enquiry or whether we reply.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not trade it with anyone.

We use what you send for one purpose: to read your enquiry, work out whether we can help, and get back to you. We use the automatic information above to keep the site working and to see whether it is worth anything to visitors.

Your enquiry reaches us as an email to info@ascension-football.com. Inside Ascension it is seen by Shane Burnham and by the people working directly on your enquiry.

Two service providers are involved in running this site, and they only handle your information as part of providing that service: Vercel, which hosts the site, provides the analytics described above and runs the bot check on form submissions, and Resend, which delivers the enquiry email to us. If a specialist listed on this site becomes involved in your enquiry, we will tell you before we pass anything to them.

We may also share information where the law requires it.

Some of the people this firm works with are in high school, so please read this part.

If you are under 18, do not send us your details through this site yourself. Ask a parent or legal guardian to make the enquiry, or to sit with you while you do it.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, contact us and we will delete it.

A parent or legal guardian can ask us at any time to show them, correct, or delete anything we hold about their child.

There is no database behind this website. Nothing you submit is saved into one, because one does not exist. Your submission becomes an email and nothing more.

That email stays in our inbox for as long as we need it to answer you and, if we end up working together, for as long as that relationship and our record-keeping obligations require. After that we delete it.

You can ask us to delete it sooner.

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it. Just contact us using the details below and tell us what you want. We will not charge you and we will not make it difficult.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights under local privacy law, including rights relating to the sale or sharing of personal information. Since we do not sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing there to opt out of, but you are welcome to ask.

Separately from anything you send us, this site publishes the names, photographs, schools, positions, and short biographical details of clients and of the specialists we work with.

If that includes you and something is wrong, out of date, or something you would rather was not published, contact us and we will review it and correct or remove it promptly. That applies to your photograph as much as to the text.

The site is served over HTTPS, it stores no personal information itself, and access to the inbox that receives enquiries is limited to the people who need it.

No website can promise perfect security, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Please do not send sensitive documents, identification numbers, or financial details through the contact form. If we need something like that, we will agree a sensible way to send it.
